They say home is where the heart is
and a mukmineen's heart is in the hereafter

Wahai umat manusia, sesungguhnya janji Allah (membalas amal kamu) adalah benar; maka janganlah kamu diperdayakan oleh kemewahan hidup di dunia dan janganlah Syaitan yang menjadi sebesar-besar penipu itu berpeluang menyebabkan kamu terpedaya dengan (kemurahan) Allah (lalu kamu lalai dan menderhaka).

Being Thankful

Everything seems so hectic
When actually its not
Because its already pre-ordained by Allah


Fikirkanlah

Lets take a few minutes off for reflection

Get something to eat and eat it - at the first bite, taste the sumptuous food that we taste, its delight lingering in our tongue and the feeling of the food going through our throat into our stomach

Touch your hand - feel the softness of your skin that is softer than velvet, the strength of your nails that completes your fingers

Open your eyes, look around you - look at the delight that you can see through your eyes - the glorious sun, the serenity of the moon, the beauty of the oceans and the sky

Take a deep breath - smell the smell of the morning, the air that we breathe (polluted or not), the smell of the flowers, the smell of your child, the oxygen that provides means for your body to work

Close your eyes, touch your chest - can you feel it? The beatings of your heart, pumping blood all over the body and giving you life, giving your organs life

Open your eyes
This is you, no matter how you look or how you feel
You are Allah's creation
You created for a reason
Find that reason and dont let it get pass you

It is beautiful, how Allah provides us sufficiency in everything.
Yet, we always forget

Astaghfirullah hal azheem

Katakanlah (wahai Muhammad): Allah yang menciptakan kamu (dari tiada kepada ada) dan mengadakan bagi kamu pendengaran dan penglihatan serta hati (untuk kamu bersyukur, tetapi) amatlah sedikit kamu bersyukur.

[Mulk:23]

Maka adakah patut kamu menyangka bahawa Kami hanya menciptakan kamu (dari tiada kepada ada) sahaja dengan tiada sebarang hikmat pada ciptaan itu? Dan kamu (menyangka pula) tidak akan dikembalikan kepada Kami?; Maka (dengan yang demikian) Maha Tinggilah Allah Yang Menguasai seluruh alam, lagi Yang Tetap Benar; tiada Tuhan melainkan Dia, Tuhan yang mempunyai Arasy yang mulia.

[al-Mukminun:115-116]

Allahumma a-inni 'ala zikrika wa syukrika wa husni ibadatik
Ya Allah, beri pertolongan bagi diriku berzikir mengingati-Mu dan memanjat syukur pada nikmat-Mu serta memperbaiki ibadatku kepada-Mu
