The Beginning of an End

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahamatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Hopefully we are always under Allah's bountiful Shade and Mercy with His Light guiding us through this life. Insya Allah. Subhanallah, after a long hiatus (break), I felt inclined to share this beautiful hadeeth.

Mercy

“…Suddenly, a woman saw an infant in the midst of the captives. She took hold of it, brought it into her bosom, and started nursing it. The Prophet then told the Companions, “Do you think that this woman would throw her child in the fire?” We said, “No, By Allah she would not, if she is able not to.” He then said, “Allah the Exalted is more merciful with His slave than this woman with her child.”
[HR Bukhari]

This beautiful hadeeth moved me to tears. This is how much Allah loves us, more than the love of a mother. When will we take heed of this Mercy from the Most Merciful Creator? Subhanallah walhamdulillah.

Lament

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Hi there
Have you ever felt that you are scared to die
Or losing someone you love
?
Or losing anything that you own?
Or just to lose yourself?

Don't
It's not worth it

Because

If you die a Muslim
You'll go to heaven
If you lose someone you love
He/she will go to heaven
If you lost what you have now
You'll get in in heaven
If you lose yourself for the sake of Allah
You'll go to heaven

But
With one condition
You must live as true Muslims
And die as true Muslims

Fana

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Innama dunya fana

God made the illusion look real
and the real an illusion.
He concealed the sea
and made the foam visible,
the wind invisible,
and the dust manifest.
you see the dust whirling,
but how can the dust rise by itself?
you see the foam, but not the ocean.

Let's Continue This Journey

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Ighfirlana ya Allah
Please Allah, forgive us

O'self, please have patience & passion in this journey to your Creator

Nawwaas ibn Sam’aan reported that the Prophet s.a.w said: “Allah has set forth the following as a parable:

"There is a road which leads straight to the destination. On either side of the road there is a wall in which there are open doors with curtains hanging on them. From the remote end of the road, a voice calls, ‘Proceed straight and don’t turn to any side!’ Whenever someone intends to lift a curtain from the door, another voice calls from above: ‘Beware! Don’t lift the curtain, otherwise you will be lured inside.’

(The Prophet s.a.w explained: ) The straight path is Islam; the walls are the limits (hudood) of Allah (which he has placed on actions); the open doors are the things that He has prohibited; the voice which calls from the end of the road is the Qur’aan and the voice which calls from above is Allah’s monitor in the heart of every believer."

Planning and The Planned I

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Everything good is sadaqah

While I was sitting with my husband at our humble house, we reflected on how Allah the All Mighty planned our (barely insignificant) life. Masha Allah tabarakaLlah, there is nothing that both of us can do apart from thanking Him, Most Gracious, Most Forgiving, Most High, Most Just, Most Loving, Most Merciful. Alhamdulillah wa syukrillah. There are so many things that I wanted to share, but for now, let us make more tasbih (subhanallah), tahlil (la ilaha ilallah), takbeer (Allahu akbar) and tahmid (alhamdulillah).
May Allah bless us all

On Marriage

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Subhanallah walhamdulillah wa lailaha ilallah wallahu akbar
On the 12th September 2010 - 3rd of Syawal 1431Hijra, Allah azzawajalla granted me the greatest blessings of climbing the steps of al baitul muslim (the muslim family). May Allah bless us all and shrouds us in His Rahmah and may we achieve sakeenah in this life and in the hereafter. Allahu yubarik feekum!

Subhanallah walhamdulillah

A group of the Sahabah asked Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him): “Teach us which kind of wealth is best, so that we may try to acquire it?” He (Peace Be Upon Him): said: “The best is a remembering tongue (one that remembers Allah), a grateful heart and a believing wife who helps one’s faith.

From Him and For Him

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem

Place no hope in the creations, but place hopes only in Allah ta'ala
Only then, will we be content

True Believers

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Subhanallah walhamdulillah
Always something new to learn and practice

The power of giving and gratitudes

A beautiful exchange between two special lovers of Allah (swt):

Imam Jafar as-Sadiq asked the famous saint Shaqiq al-Balkhi about the affairs of his people.

Shaqiq al-Balkhi replied, 'They are well. When they receive from the blessings of Allah (swt), they are thankful. And when they are tested with difficulty, they bear patiently.'

Imam Jafar frowned, replying 'Such is the state of dogs.'

And he continued, 'The state of true believers is that when they are showered with Allah's blessings, they give. And when they are tested, they are thankful.'

Interesting reminder for all of us

Freedom & Dependence

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Merdeka, are you?

Lets free our heart from the prison of ad-Dunya!

Achieve freedom of worldly needs
Occupy your heart & soul with dependence solely on Allah

Only then will you be content

"Step out of your own self and keep your distance from it. Practice detachment from your possessiveness, and surrender everything to Allah. Become His doorman at the door of your heart, obeying His command by admitting those He instructs you to admit, and respecting His prohibition by shutting out those He instructs you to turn away, so that you do not let desire back into your heart once it has been removed.”

O'Allah, make us the sabireen

Climbing the Stairs

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Astaghfirullah hal azheem,
astaghfirullah hal azheem, astaghfirullah hal azheem
Rabbana aatina fid-dunya hasanah, wa fil akhirati hasanah,
wa qeena azhab an-naar

[Nur:32; Furqan:74]

Insya Allah, I will be in a journey of iman where I will enter a new phase, a phase of completing my deen, laced with jihad and also followed by a leap of hijrah. Bi iznillah.

Dear brothers and sister, please make du'a for me and also the ummah. May Allah shrouds us with His divine Rahmah, make us the pious and the
mukhliseen, make us steadfast in this beautiful path of being true muslims and ummatan wasata, enlighten our hearts and Guide our soul to the straight path and make us love one another as much as we love ourselves and love the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Him (azzawajalla) more than anything else in this world. Allahumma ameen.

To my fellow da'wa brothers and sisters,
insya Allah no, the jihad won't stop there too.

Completing Jihad

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Allahumma a'izzal islama wal muslimin wal mujahideena fi kulli makaan

Jihad is not complete without hijrah, nor are hijrah and jihad complete without faith and belief (iman). And those who hope for Allah's mercy are those who do the three (i.e. jihad, hijrah, and iman).

Phase 2: Maghfirah

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Here's the second phase of Ramadhan, the phase of maghfirah which is the forgiveness of our sins in the past, now and in the future. Allahummaghfirlana ya Allah, Allahummaghfirlana ya Allah, Allahummaghfirlana ya Allah. May we be one of those who are cleansed through and through this Ramadhan. Allahumma ameen.

Guide us Allah, to Your Love and Jannah!

Subhanallahi walhamdulillahi
lailaha ilallahu wallahu akbar

Hear now my heartsong
My heart calls to You
That You Guide me my lord
Through my soul's long dark night
I send my heartsong across the empty silences
To You may You fill me with Peace and with Light
Lost in an ocean of doubt and confusion
Am I seeking Your burning beacon Light
Strengthen my hand and my heart when I falter
for I cannot weaken if You are with me

Subhanallahi walhamdulillahi
walailahailallah wallahu akbar

Thirst be on farthest this path that I wander
The way of the heart is a long road and hard
Send me a Light and a Lantern to guide me
this world weary traveler is yearning for Home
Yet still I stumble ever off
A wandering soul among the lost
Searching for the way that leads back to You
With that I had the wings of Gabriel to bank me aloft
To the Lord of The Throne

Subhanallahi walhamdulillahi
walailahailallah wallahu akbar

Oh how blessed, how blessed are those who have found You
The hearts contemplating the Light of Your Love
So let this be the prayer of the traveler who yearns to You
O'Lord, Guide me gently to my journey's end

Subhanallahi walhamdulillahi
walailahailallah wallahu akbar

Hear now my heart song
My heart calls to You that You Guide me my Lord
Through my soul's long dark night
I send my heart song across the empty silences
To You may You fill me with Peace and with Light

Subhanallahi walhamdulillahi
walailahailallah wallahu akbar

There are so many things, so many changes to be made, so many adaption, so many experience to learn and reflect and so many news to tell. May Allah grant us His Light so that it enlighten our hearts and show us the way to His Love. May this few weeks of Ramadhan will bring us goodness, maghfirah, rahmah and freedom from an-naar (the hellfire). Allahumma ameen.
