In Love

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

O'Allah, please Guide us to the straight path

In Allah's willing

I went somewhere
With my beloved companions

I learned a lot

about life

about obligations
about faith

"O'Allah, please forgive us and our parents"

In those innocent eyes
There are eagerness
There are light
There are purity

"O'Allah, please grant us jannah"

The memory
still lingers in my mind

fresh, alive and beating
clear and vivid

Alhamdulillah

Thank You Allah

for granting us Your blessings
for showering us with Love and Motivation

Subhanallahi wa bihamdih
Subhanallah al-azheem

This path is beautiful

Allah is with us

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Verily, Allah is with us

Dalam setiap derap langkah
telah ditetapkan segalanya
Dalam setiap air mata yang berguguran
telah ditulis titisannya
Dalam setiap keresahan juga kesedi
han
telah diberikan bahagiannya
Dalam setiap sesuatu
adalah dalam ilmu-Nya

Wahai hati
Bersabarlah dan bersyukurlah

Selagi dirimu melaksanakan amanah syahadahmu
Jangan takut atau bersedih hati
Mohonlah ampun dari-Nya

Subhanallahi wabihamdih

There are characteristics of a mukmineen embedded within these verses of love from Allah. Can you find them? Take your time to reflect because I myself am reflecting and pondering. Have I fulfilled these characteristics with ikhlas and ihsan?

Allahummaghfirly ya Allah

Forgive us Allah

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

What have we done to help our fellow brothers and sisters in creed?

Lets start helping ourselves to help them

I went weak in the knee when I heard those words of reminders from this brother. As if my heart were ripped apart and my breath were taken away from me, I felt suffocated by guilt and fear. Apprehension traced its icy finger down my spine as I thought of the Day of Judgment. What have I done? What will I answer to Allah? Astaghfirullah hal azheem.

O'Allah, please cleanse our hearts from every illness of the heart (qalb)
Enlighten us, ya Nuur, with Your Divine Light
Keep us, under the shade of Your Rahmah, Ya Raheem, forever

Allahummarghfirly
ummatan Muhammad

Ya Rahman, ya Raheem, Ya Ghafur, Ya Tawwab

A Trinkle of Patience

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Assalammualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

O'Allah, ya Sabur
Please grant us patience

Forgive us ya Allah

When we are tested by Allah (with sadness or even with happiness), let us be patient and be one of the muttaqeen who are always thankful of His love and bounties. Take example from Ya'aqub a.s. when he was tested by his own sons -

إِنَّمَآ أَشۡكُواْ بَثِّى وَحُزۡنِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ
"I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allâh"

Whatever that befalls us are pre-ordained by Allah and under His divine supervision. Whatever that we have to go through are His plans so that we return back to Him, with a heart that are softened by the tears of repentance and hope. This is not easy and it is easier said than done. Yet, this is Allah's way to educate us, to let us try to get to know Him better and realize our purpose in life.

O you who believe! If you obey and fear Allâh (taqwa), He will grant you Furqân [(a criterion to judge between right and wrong), or (Makhraj, i.e. a way for you to get out from every difficulty)], and will expiate for you your sins, and forgive you; and Allâh is the Owner of the Great Bounty.
[al-Anfal:29]

The life of this world is very short. It is a course that we have to go through with patience and gratitude. Was it not Allah who gave us oxygen? Was it not Allah who granted us this pair of eyes to read? Was it not Allah who granted us fingers to touch? Isn't it amazing that now you can read when years ago (years ago? It felt like yesterday) you are still trying to figure out the difference between the alphabet B and D. Masha Allah tabarakallah! These are the minutest bounties of Allah. Have we thanked Him like what our beloved prophet s.a.w. did when he (s.a.w) prayed until his (s.a.w) legs swelled? What will we answer to Him in the day of judgment when all our limbs will answer to Allah, when there's nowhere to run and hide, when there are no more choices?

"Get up (and hurry) in entering upon Allah and accompanying Him in the home of Peace, without any tiredness, hardship or fatigue, but in fact by the nearest of paths and the most easiest (of them). And this is (by realizing) that you are in a time between two times which is (what constitutes) your life, and this this the present time which is between what has passed and what is yet to come. Then that which has passed, you can correct by repentance, remorse and seeking forgiveness. This is something in which there will be no tiredness, fatigue, or any straining efforts (required on your behalf). It is (nothing but) the action of the heart."
[Ibn Qayyim r.h in al-Fawaid]

Come, let us walk this path with a new vigour - to cleanse ourselves from the bits and splattered sins that are hindering us from Allah, from getting His light. Let us immerse ourselves to the spirit of learning more about His creation, His beloved (prophet Muhammad s.a.w.) and His beautiful names so that we are able to walk through this world with humility and an enlightened heart. Insya Allah.

Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa syukrika wa husni ibadatik

Wallahua'lam
All praise be to Allah, Lord of the world
